The short version: this site is built to know as little about you as possible. Here is the complete picture.

The website

Reading MoneyClarity does not require an account and the site itself does not set tracking cookies. The site is hosted on Vercel and uses Google Fonts; like virtually all websites, our hosting and font providers may process your IP address and standard technical request data to deliver the pages.

The calculators and tools

Finance Desk, the Credit Score Simulator, Rent vs Buy and the built-in calculators all run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type — loan amounts, salaries, credit details, tenures — are never uploaded, never stored on our servers, and never seen by us. The Credit Score Simulator needs no report or document at all. Some tools save your inputs in your own device's local storage so they're there when you return; clearing your browser data removes them.

Apna Paisa (the salary planner)

Without login: everything stays on your device in local storage. Nothing reaches any server. There is no SMS reading, no bank account linking, and no access to your contacts.
With optional login (cloud sync): if you sign in with your email, we store (a) your email address and (b) your planner data, so it can sync across your devices. This is stored with our backend provider, Supabase, in a data centre in Mumbai, India, protected by row-level security so only your account can read your data.
Deletion: email hello@moneyclaritytech.com from your registered address and your account and synced data will be deleted.

The newsletter

If you subscribe to The MoneyClarity Letter, your email address is stored with our newsletter platform (beehiiv) and used only to send you the newsletter. Every issue includes a one-tap unsubscribe link, which works immediately.

Email

If you write to us, we keep the correspondence to reply to you. We don't add you to any list because you emailed us.

Analytics and advertising

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read. If advertising (such as Google AdSense) is introduced on the website's articles or tool pages in future, the ad provider may use cookies to serve ads; this page will be updated before that happens, and ads will never appear inside the Apna Paisa app.

What we never do

Sell or rent your personal data. To anyone. Ever.
Read your SMS, contacts or bank accounts.
Require an account to use the educational content or tools.
